What is the Academy?
The Academy aims to build capacities and facilitate experience-sharing among key stakeholders from SEA in support of a clean and inclusive energy transition. A coaching mechanism will provide attendees with an opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills that they acquire during the Academy, with the training focusing on four countries (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines) that represent around 80% of the region’s total energy share and population.

An intense and productive training of trainers (ToT) was run in Cairo from the 4th – 6th December, 2010 in partnership with the Cairo Center for Training on Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping in Africa (CCCPA). The programme saw innovative and interactive training techniques utilized in the delivery and training of individuals from civil society, universities and government.
