UNITAR and UNITAR Association invite Hiroshima high school students (grades 10 to 12) to apply to the “2024 UNITAR Hiroshima Youth Ambassador Programme: Leaders for a New Era.”
The programme theme will be centred around nuclear disarmament and peacebuilding. The programme will take place mainly at the UNITAR Hiroshima Office and partially online, from 30 June to 30 August 2024.
The training programme is free of charge and financially supported by the Hiroshima Prefectural Government.

2021年5月31日・広島 - 国連ユニタール持続可能な繁栄局諮問委員で一般社団法人国連ユニタール協会理事長の大島賢三氏ご逝去の報に接し、心から哀悼の意を表します。
大島氏には、ご出身の広島市に拠点をもつ国連ユニタール広島事務所を数年来応援していただき、様々な面から助言をいただいてきました。2019年からはユニタール協会理事長としてユニタールの資金調達や広報に関するアウトリーチの分野でもご協力いただいており、今年新たにご就任いただいた持続可能な繁栄局諮問委員としてますます弊所の活動に携わっていただこうとしていたところでした。公開セッションでたびたびご登壇いただくなど、地域の皆様や若手との交流にも心を砕いてこられました。
