Therefore, the number of modules has been reduced from six to four to allow for greater flexibility for those who need to juggle many obligations in their personal and professional lives. UNITAR and Babson College are also delighted to announce that the fee of the Executive Certificate has been significantly reduced accordingly, and that a special further discount is available for participants coming from least developed regions.

On 7 April 2022, Hiroshima Dragonflies president and CEO Mr. Nobuyoshi Ura and UNITAR Division for Prosperity director Ms. Mihoko Kumamoto signed the memorandum of understanding in a ceremony at the UNITAR Hiroshima Office.

6 April 2022, Hiroshima, Japan – United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Division for Prosperity, with Sunlight (a home-care brand under Unilever Kenya Limited) and Absa Bank Kenya, invite women in Kenya interested in entrepreneurship to apply to the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership Training for Women Entrepreneurs in Africa programme. 04 April 2022, New York, United States (Virtual) – The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) New York office, kickstarted the two-day presentations of the workshop titled, “Elections to UN Organs: Workshop for Election Officers”. Garnering 132 participants from around the world, this workshop successfully enhanced the understanding of election procedures and processes among participating election officers, and equipped participants with the tools to identify opportunities for candidatures, and provided election officers with insights into successful campaigning.

1 April 2022, Geneva, Switzerland - Negotiating for peace and engaging in dialogue to address challenges is a top priority for Africa – a continent that is committed to “silencing the guns” and building lasting peace. Given the recent instability observed in Central Africa, the UNITAR Training Programme to Enhance Conflict Prevention and Peacemaking in Central Africa Region, was very well received by the mid and senior-level female and male officials from Ministries of Foreign Affairs, staff from the African Union, from UN peace missions in the region and from civil society. 31 March 2022, New York, United States (Virtual) – The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) New York office, in partnership with the Columbia Law School Mediation Clinic, continued the three-event Spring 2022 presentations of the Columbia Law School Series with the second session entitled “Negotiation Fundamentals for Diplomatic Leadership”. The session gathered over 200 participants from around the world and covered the topic of navigating negotiations and asking the right questions to achieve desired goals and outcomes.
