UNITAR is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its e-Learning course on the UN System, due to start on 29th November. Following the course’s success this summer, the Multilateral Diplomacy Programme will repeat this six-week course, which is full of useful insights, exercises, and demonstrative videos on how the whole UN system works.

This September 4 2010, UNITAR became the newest UN institution to become a member of UN Water during the coordinating platform’s thirteenth meeting. Several provinces in central Vietnam are being affected by torrential rains with an average rainfall of 300 to 800 mm according to reports received from UNDP Country Office. On 07 October UNOSAT humanitarian rapid mapping service was activated at the request of the UN country office in Vietnam to provide accurate geographic information on the extent of the flooding and its impact.
