UNITAR Hiroshima Holds Workshop III for Afghanistan Fellowship Programme in Kabul
20 October 2015, Kabul, Afghanistan - The UNITAR Hiroshima Office has successfully concluded Workshop III of its signature Afghanistan Fellowship Programme. The workshop was held over two days, 13 and 14 October, and focused on developing understanding and skills critical for the team projects that the fellows are currently undertaking. Reflecting the innovative and flexible training approaches used by UNITAR, the sessions were conducted by resource persons via video conferencing from Hiroshima and Washington. Professor David Eaton of the University of Texas at Austin led the session on Decision Analysis. Wes Ven Johnson, Management Consultant and President of Ven Global Strategies, focused on Risk Identification and Mitigation.
Using the lessons and knowledge learnt from these sessions, the fellows are continuing through the project development process and working towards presenting their project proposals at Workshop IV, to be held in Hiroshima in mid-November.
