• On 14 February 2025, UNITAR and the Geneva School of Diplomacy signed a memorandum of understanding to advance global leadership, diplomacy and sustainable development education.
• UNITAR and the Geneva School of Diplomacy aim to develop training programmes to facilitate student and faculty exchanges and conduct research on global issues.
• The partnership will focus on the establishment of the UNITAR-GSD Centre for Sustainable Development, jointly developing master’s and executive programmes, facilitating internship and faculty exchange programmes, organizing international conferences, symposiums, and workshops, undertaking joint fundraising and advocacy efforts, research and policy development.
