Registrations for e-Learning Course on Social Media for Development Now Open
27 April 2015, Geneva, Switzerland - UNITAR is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for “Innovative Collaboration for Development” (ICfD), an e-Learning course on social media for development. The English session of the course will be held from 15 June to 14 August 2015. The French session will run from 29 June to 28 August 2015.
The course, which is the fruit of a partnership between UNITAR, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Information Management Resource Kit (IMark) and the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), aims to empower development professionals to recognize the potential of social media and to make innovative use of these tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work. ICfD gives participants the opportunity to use and analyze social media tools in light of their adaptability to specific workplace contexts.
