25 September 2018, Shanghai, People’s Republic of China – The International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders in Shanghai (CIFAL Shanghai) in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce of China hosted the seminar “Information security technology for developing countries” on the 25 September 2018 in Shanghai.
The increase of exchanging sensible information around the globe is one of the visible consequences of digital business. In an ever more digitalized world, it is important to pay special attention to the positive outcomes of technology and its vital role in the achieving of the Sustainable Development Goals to drive sustainable economic growth.
This 21-day seminar brought together 51 participants from 13 developing countries. The lectures would help attendees to move forward with more efficient processes to develop information security technology strategies and policies in their home countries. Equally important, the site visits offered the opportunity not only to deepen their understanding about information security technology, but also to experience firsthand China’s economic development.
