CIFAL Shanghai Delivered Training Course for Primary and Secondary School Teachers of Samoa
10 April 2017, Shanghai, China – The International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL) in Shanghai with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of the Government of China (MOFCOM) hosted the first training course on “Computer Operation for Primary and Secondary School Teachers of Samoa”. The course was launched on 10 April 2017 and it is the first of a series of eight training courses that are part of the China Aid Training Plan to be delivered by CIFAL Shanghai this year.
The course brought together 25 participants from Samoa to have the opportunity to visit Shanghai and learn about China's elementary education, as well as to share experiences and lessons about education. Mr. LA Leaana Utoasega, representative from the Teacher Development and Advisory Division of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture (MESC) of Samoa expressed gratitude to the Chinese Government for this valuable opportunity.
Mr. Wang Genxiang, Director of CIFAL Shanghai welcomed the participants and expressed his commitment to continue providing training opportunities such as this course. Ms. Wang Yajie, Deputy Division Chief of Planning & Bidding Division of the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) od the MOFCOM and Ms. Liu Beimin, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce attended the ceremony and also welcomed all the participants from Samoa.
