10 March 2019, Jeju, Republic of Korea – The International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders in Jeju (CIFAL Jeju) in partnership with Jeju National University conducted the course “International Cooperation”, which forms part of Jeju National University’s ‘Global Public Diplomacy Training.
The course was held on 23-24 January 2019 with the objective to build capacity through intensive lectures and the development of proposals on international cooperation by participants. This 2-day course gathered 18 university students and three experts in the area of international cooperation.
Lectures sought to develop practical skills in areas such as finance, planning an overall international cooperation. Sessions on various strategies and methods for planning an international cooperation project were led by Mr. An Choul Jin, Planning and Budget Officer of CIFAL Jeju. During the sessions, participants were able to make their own proposals and present them to the group.
By the end of the course, attendees expressed their high level of satisfaction, highlighting the overall usefulness and innovative knowledge acquired.
