In January 2021, UNITAR, in conjunction with UN ESCAP, UNDESA and UNDP, will be delivering an introductory training on “Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFF) for Sustainability Recovery from the COVID-19 Crisis and for Achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” for countries of North and Central Asia.

The training, which will take place between 18-27 January 2021, comprises seven sessions that will cover a wide range of relevant topics such as the INFF inception phase and building blocks, SDG costing, planning and budgeting, themed bonds, and different country approaches to implementing INFF. Held in both English and Russian, the objective of training is to build capacity and knowledge sharing among key parts of government and other stakeholders on the potential to mobilise and align financing from all sources for the implementation of national sustainable development priorities.

Two streams will be offered for the training, allowing some participants to follow the training ‘part time’ in an uncertified track, and others to follow all the sessions and take an assessment at the end to receive a certificate. The registration for the training is by invitation through the UN Country Teams.
