Digital financial inclusion
UNITAR’s Trade and Finance pillar enhances the capacities of middle- to senior-level officials in policy development, negotiation, investment, business facilitation, and trade finance strategies. At the same time, we empower young people by equipping them with financial literacy skills and a strong foundation in trade and investment, preparing them to navigate and contribute to the global economy.
Through our programs, we provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving trade and finance landscape, addressing the impact of digitalization, technological advancements, climate challenges, geopolitics, and value chain disruptions. By equipping them with the necessary skills and insights, we enable them to drive economic growth, promote social equity, and advance sustainable progress for all.
It has broadened my perspective to potentially become one of the agricultural negotiators in the future, to discuss any new proposals presented by members of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
