UNITAR GHS e-Learning course – English, Spanish, French – Twice a year!

Our course

UNITAR’s widely recognised course on the GHS has been running for 10 years, with expert tutors, and the successful provision of technical information. The course is aimed at government officers and regulators, competent authorities, private sector workers, civil society organisations, academics and others with an interest in the GHS.

The course is available in English, Spanish and French.

 

Duration and format

The course takes place over 11 weeks, with an online format that is flexible and adapted to professionals in full-time work. It is perfect for individuals or groups (group discounts available), and networking. Learning from peers and asking others (including tutors) is encouraged to maximise learning. It is run twice a year, starting in February/March and September/October each year.

 

Certificate and cost

A UNITAR certificate is provided upon successful completion of the course. The course cost is USD 1,000 per person.

GHS Course Information Sessions, 2026

UNITAR will be presenting two 90-minute, online Information Sessions to discuss the GHS and its upcoming E-Learning Courses (held in English, Spanish and French).

These sessions aim to introduce the upcoming e-learning courses and additional resources on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS); including presentations from UNITAR, industry, and GHS experts.
