What is a digital credential?
A digital credential is a secure, web-based proof of your completion of a UNITAR course or programme. It allows you to share your achievements, verify your learning, and showcase your skills in a professional and verifiable way.
Why Digital Credentials?
Digital credentials offer several benefits:
- Share your accomplishments – Display your certificate or badge on LinkedIn, your resume, professional networks, email, or personal website.
- Verify your credentials – Employers, colleagues, or other institutions can instantly verify your achievement online.
- Showcase your expertise – Each credential contains details about the course content, learning outcomes, and skills acquired.
Accessing Your Digital Credential
After successfully completing a UNITAR course, you will receive an email notification with a link to your digital credential. From there, you can view, download, or share your credential.
How to Share Your Credential
Your digital credential can be shared in multiple ways:
- Via a unique link – Share directly with employers, colleagues, or educational institutions.
- As a PDF – Download and attach it to your email, resume, or portfolio.
- On social networks – Easily share on LinkedIn or other platforms.

Printing Your Credential
For those who prefer a hard copy, your digital credential can be downloaded as a PDF and printed. UNITAR encourages this sustainable approach to reduce paper usage.
