Ambassador Amina Mohamed is a seasoned diplomat and public servant with over 35 years of experience in international relations, law, and public administration. She has served in several high-level roles in the Government of Kenya, including Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Education, and Sports, Culture & Heritage. She was also Kenya’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva and served as Assistant Secretary-General at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). A trailblazer in multilateral diplomacy, she has chaired numerous global forums including the WTO Ministerial Conference and UNCTAD. She currently leads the Amina Live Foundation, focusing on leadership, education, and youth empowerment. She brings deep expertise in diplomacy, governance, and global policy.
