Application and Payment CDT

Application

To apply and register to MDP activities in the framework of Core Diplomatic Training, please consult the following MDP Event Database.

Payment Structure

Since 2011, UNITAR charges a fee for part of its core diplomatic training courses offered in New York and Geneva. Some courses remain free-of-charge, through financial or in-kind contributions provided by partner organizations for implementation. The fees for each course are indicated in the CDT calendar that can be downloaded from our homepage.

Costing structure and payment system

Participants will be able to attend UNITAR courses by paying a per-day course fee. UNITAR’s diplomacy training curriculum comprises 3 categories of courses, with per-day-fees ranging from 250 to 1200 USD.[1]Fees are based on a cost-recovery calculation.

Participants may pay individually per course attended, or, in case of government representatives, their country may wish to cover the costs of an annual subscription of $15,000 per single location (or $25,000 for both locations). An annual subscription will ensure free access for all diplomats of the Permanent Mission to the full range of UNITAR CDT courses.

Permanent Missions are invited to select from UNITAR’s CDT course catalogue (www.unitar.org/event/cdt) and to pay online or through wire transfers. Up-to-date information on course offers, fees, and payment modalities are also posted in the online catalogue.

[1]These courses are in addition to on-line multilateral diplomacy training courses that are not categorized as CDT activities. Information on all e-Learning courses, in addition to pricing for such courses, is available on: www.unitar.org/mdp/course-descriptions-e-learning.
