Building inclusive societies and promoting equal opportunities for all is at the core of our work. Socially inclusive policies and programmes aim to empower individuals to take advantage of opportunities and enjoy equal access to education, health services, safety and security, technologies, employment, as well as to have a voice in decision making processes that will impact their lives. We offer training, technical assistance and knowledge sharing opportunities aimed at strengthening the capacities of government authorities and policy makers to develop and implement strategies towards social inclusion.
The Division for People and Social Inclusion’s Advisory Board provides technical and critical analysis of the Division’s activities to ensure that the quality standards adopted in compliance with the UNITAR mandate and UN guidelines are respected and well-integrated in everything we do. For more information regarding our Board Members, please check our Advisory Board page.
