This map illustrates satellite detected surface waters in Khulna and Barisal Division (Bangladesh) as observed from Sentine l-1 imagery acquired on 4 M ay 2019. Within the analyzed extent of about 12,000 sq km , a total of approximately 1,600 sq km of lands appear to be flooded as of 4 M ay 2019.This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field.
