This map illustrates satellite-detected surface water in Larand Lamard district, Fars province, Iran as observed from Sentinel-1A imagery acquired on 30 Marc h 2019. Within the analysed area of about 12,550 sq km, 672 sq km of lands appear to be flooded as of 30 March 2019. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field .
