UNITAR-UNOSAT analysed satellite imagery collected 10 May 2015 and 15 April 2015 by the Pleiades satellite over the city of Aden, Yemen. UNITAR-UNOSAT identified visible damage of several structures in the Masheek Peninsula on 15 April 2015. The Aden International Airport also showed signs of damage on 10 May 2015 and 15 April 2015, along with a possibly destroyed helicopter and a destroyed plane. As of 10 May 2015, damage to several structures in an industrial port area was found, as well as the destruction of the Aden Police Office and Police Officer Club. Vehicle traffic was not heavy but cars were visible all around the city as of these dates.
