Innovation in Learning: virtual reality and other innovative approach to learning
One of UNITAR’s core functions is to design and deliver innovative training to address the needs of individuals, organizations, and institutions. We strive to provide the highest quality of training with modern tools.
In this edition, we are highlighting various programmes’ innovative approaches to learning in 2017. UNOSAT is developing content for virtual reality space for training and visualization purposes for the humanitarian community, while Peacekeeping Training Programme is collaborating with various partners and developed a peacebuilding game “Mission Zhobia”, and UN CC:Learn is delivering the Climate Classroom to the busy delegates to major Climate Change Conferences.
We are very pleased to announce our partnerships with The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and a continuous partnership with CERN. With all of them, we are striving to achieve our common goals together. |
