The workshop had the following major objectives:
- To create awareness among the regional and national experts on the major concepts of climate change that can be integrated in the national curriculum.
- To review the flowchart designed for Grades 1-12 as part of the guide to integrate climate change concepts
- To review the syllabi developed for Grades 1-12 as part of the guide to integrate climate change concepts
- To validate the annotated guide that helps curriculum experts on the integration of climate change concepts into the national curriculum
- To put forward suggestions on future deliberations regarding climate change education in Ethiopian primary and secondary schools.
