UNITAR Signs Partnership Agreement with the State of Qatar

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) recently signed a partnership agreement with the State of Qatar, with the goal of offering training and improving the skills of diplomats in developing countries.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Foreign Ministry's Secretary General Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, H.E. United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Humanitarian Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muraikhi and H.E. Head of the Diplomatic Institute of the Foreign Ministry Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, the State of Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva, and UN Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director of UNITAR, Mr. Nikhil Seth.
