“By transforming global goals into practical norms, standards and conventions, UNECE is a driving force in combating climate change in the pan-European region and beyond.”

7 December 2016, Geneva, Switzezrland - Climate change is a global phenomenon, and all regions of the world are contributing to it and are likely to be affected by it. Aware that education is a key factor to curb down greenhouse gas emissions and global warming, UNECE has been implementing since 2005 its Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development.

UN CC:Learn is happy to welcome UNECE as a partner, acknowledging that it will bring a lot to the table in terms of climate change education. UNECE’s publications on climate change and education can also be found here.
