June 2013, Bonn, Germany - UNITAR and representatives of UNITAR/UN CC:Learn Pilot countries attended the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Expo event on 9 June, which launched the NAP process in Least Developed Countries (LDCs). At this high level event UNITAR pointed out ways in which national climate change learning strategies developed under UNITAR/UN CC:Learn can support NAP development. The NAP Expo served as a forum for sharing experiences and best practices on planning, prioritizing and implementing adaptation. UNITAR/UN CC:Learn pilot countries participate in the 1st Dialogue on Article 6. In shot Mr Fritz Kadyoma, Malawi, and Mr Bob Natifu, Uganda. Delegates highlighted experience in integrating climate change into national education systems.
