The Research Department groups three services:

Knowledge Systems Innovation Section (KSI):

KSI conducts research on innovative learning approaches, methods, and tools, as well as their practical application on a variety of learning settings. Read more

Monitoring and Evaluation Section (M&E)

M&E aims to strengthen the Institute’s resource efficiency, effectiveness and accountability in delivering results. The Section also works to enhance organizational learning for improved relevance and impact of its programme interventions. Read more

UNITAR Operational Satellite Applications Programme (UNOSAT)

UNOSAT provides the humanitarian community with immediate satellite imagery and analysis to enable relief efforts in affected areas around the world. Read more
